Pathé Arena

Pathé Arena is one of the most impressive cinemas in the city when it comes to sheer size and IMAX 3D experience. It offers an unmatched big screen experience. The cinema can easily be reached by public transport as it’s right across the Bijlmer train station and the landmark Amsterdam Arena. This multiplex cinema is in number of rooms and chairs the largest Pathé cinema in the Netherlands. The cinema has 14 rooms over 2 floors with a total capacity of 3250 seats. One of the rooms shows IMAX films which have images of far greater size and detailed resolution then the images of films shown in the regular movie theatres. The cinema is open daily and receives a mind boggling 1,4 million visitors yearly.
